The Well No. 8 Pump Station is the newest addition to the Town of Discovery Bay’s potable water infrastructure. This high-capacity facility features a submersible well pump capable of delivering over 1,800 gallons per minute (GPM) of potable water to the community.
Project highlights include:
- A 2-cell horizontal pressure filter system, supplied by Loprest, designed to treat the full 1,800 GPM flow rate, significantly improving the purity and quality of the town’s drinking water.
- Installation of site underground piping and mechanical process piping to support water distribution and treatment operations.
- A glass-fused steel backwash tank and reclaim pumping system for efficient filter maintenance and water reuse.
- Construction of an architectural masonry block chemical building housing treatment systems and chemical storage.
- A standby diesel generator to ensure operational reliability during power outages.
- Complete electrical and control systems for automated operation and remote monitoring.
- Additional site work to support safe and efficient facility operation.
This critical infrastructure project enhances the Town of Discovery Bay’s ability to deliver clean, reliable drinking water to its residents while supporting future growth and regulatory compliance.
This project involves the development of a potable water well site designed to supply over 900 gallons per minute (GPM) of potable water to the City of Patterson.
Key features of the project include:
- Well Drilling for a high-capacity municipal water supply.
- Installation of a Vertical Turbine Well Pump for efficient water extraction.
- A Standby Diesel Generator to ensure uninterrupted operation during power outages.
- Construction of an Architectural Block Building to house the well pump and associated infrastructure.
- Integration of a Chemical Feed System for water treatment and quality control.
- Installation of all necessary Electrical and Control Equipment to manage and monitor well operations.
This infrastructure will significantly enhance the City's water supply capacity, supporting current and future demands for safe, reliable drinking water.
The Arambel Tank and Booster Station project, recently initiated, will significantly enhance the City of Patterson’s potable water storage and distribution capabilities.
Key components of the project include:
- A 1.5 million-gallon (MG) steel water reservoir, measuring 90 feet in diameter, to provide substantial storage capacity.
- A booster pump station housed within an architectural masonry block building, designed for durability and aesthetic integration.
- Installation of four (4) canned vertical turbine booster pumps to ensure high-capacity water distribution.
- A hydropneumatic tank to regulate system pressure and support consistent water flow.
- A standby diesel generator to maintain uninterrupted operations during power outages.
- Complete electrical and control systems for reliable, automated operation and system monitoring.
Once completed, this facility will play a vital role in strengthening the City’s water infrastructure, supporting both current demand and future development.
